Clayton Durham is a good old Kentucky boy,he is from Livingston,Ky,about nine miles from Renfro Valley.
He made Hamilton,Ohio his home for about forty years,and now lives in Harrison,Ohio.
When Clayton sings people sit up and take notice,he does not try to imitate anyone,he has his own style of singing.
There's people who sing that are loud and mechanical sounding,
this guy sings with feelings and you can feel what he sings,
that comes from living some of the songs he sings.
Clayton started picking the guitar at a very young age,
he used to fool with is dad's Guitar
when he was little by taking the strings off and turning them upside down
,(Clayton is left hand) then he would change them back as if his Dad wouldn't know,
well it didn't take long until his Dad fiqured out what was going on!
Clayotn has picked with several bands down through the years around the Hamilton area,and he has been a Band leader a few times.
